The quest for identity is inherent; it drives us in all directions
until we learn that it is time to be driven together. Here is where
the raw identity that we all seek dwells. This we celebrate. All for
originals and the rest against all!
'Chitrakatha' is an International Animation Film Festival that
celebrates and encourages original content from our region. Art
reflects society, its goodness, wants, ills and most importantly, a
desire and design for change.
Our animation industry is strong and can only get stronger. Mostly
advertising and episodic work that will eventually mature to feature
productions, our industry is geared to waster vistas of involvement
globally.
“Chitrakatha” encourages original animation content from our region.
It invites entries in any format from students around the world who
practice animation cinema. The duration of the entries can be from ten
seconds to ten minutes.
