Drawing remains central to design pedagogy across disciplines at NID. Rooted in the Indian philosophical concepts of Drishti (seeing) and Anubhava (experience), the symposium ‘Drawing Dialogue: Calibration and Celebration of Drawing’ explores drawing as a fundamental site of perception, reflection, and creation. Bringing together educators, practitioners, researchers, and students, this symposium fosters critical inquiry into drawing as an indispensable mode of generating and communicating design knowledge in contemporary education.
