Mayank Loonker

Mayank Loonker graduated in Communication Design, with specialisation in Exhibition Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in 2006.
At NID, he teaches in Exhibition Design, New Media Design and Design Foundation. He teaches Space Visualisation, Materials and Structure and guides students on various design projects. His areas of interest include Exhibition Design, Architectural Design, Furniture Design, Communication Design, Storytelling through Space, and Interaction Design.
Prior to joining NID as a Faculty in February 2013, Mayank worked as an Exhibition Designer at Lord Cultural Resources, Mumbai, where he was responsible for design of Museums and Orientation Centers. Eariler, in 2008 he founded Real Monkey Design Studio, a communication design firm in Ahmedabad. From February 2006 to July 2007 he worked as a Retail Designer at Glue Design Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, designing and developing Retail store identities, Events, and retail display systems.
Currently, Mayank is working on design of  Vivek Darshan Museum based on the life of Swami Vivekananda at Khetri, Rajastahan.
