Banana Products

It was a diploma project done by Ankita Sharma from Lifestyle Accessory Design, Batch 2011, sponsored by Jenny Pinto design studio and The Purple Turtles. The objective of the project was to come up with a collection of banana fibre paper lamps for wall, floor and ceiling inspired from the art of origami. Understanding the basic principles of origami and the medium completely was the main goal. To know how banana paper reacts to the environment and changes its form accordingly.
