Jignesh Khakhar

Jignesh Khakhar has more than a decade's experience in teaching, research, and practice both nationally and internationally. An architect by training, he received his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Leicester School of Architecture, and his PhD in Data Design from the Welsh School of Architecture, UK. His expertise spans the triads of architecture, environmental design, and architectural technology on the one hand, and information, interface and interaction design on the other. At NID, he has chaired significant research and publications initiatives and has also led a sponsored research lab in the domain of mobile phones with industry partners such as Nokia, IBM, HP, and Adobe. At present, he is the coordinator of the postgraduate programme in New Media Design.
