As part of the information dissemination activity the Knowledge Management Centre also brings out regular publications in printed and digital formats.

Spectrum
Spectrum is a monthly collation of published materials which was introduced in March 2001with a compilation of articles from leading newspapers with the aim of updating the faculty, students, NID alumni, design professionals from industries the latest in the field of design.

Design Alert
is a monthly focusing on design indexes on journals, books, other information bulletin which are useful to the design profession. It is available in print form as well as online.

Additions
is again a monthly which informs the faculty, students and graduates the new arrivals in the KMC.

In addition to the above the KMC is also planning to bring out other digital products such as, a range of visual catalogues on Indian Landscape, People, Indian Architecture & Monuments, etc. In the audio collection there will be audio CD's from some of the performances conducted by eminent personalities at NID in the past as well as NID's own video programmes on a variety of themes which are made by students and faculty. Apart from this the KMC is also in the process of bringing out multimedia CDROM's from its vast collection of Diploma and Craft Documentation's which covers some of the interesting topics on the socio economic conditions in India and solutions to overcome many of the problems by better `designs'
