  • The recruiter has to fill all the required details in the online registration link using your login credentials provided by NID after sign up process is complete.
  • After the registration process for recruiters is over; job description / project brief offered by participating companies will be shared with students so that they can register for the company of their choice. We request you to provide accurate and detailed information to get the right candidate.
  • Students will submit their choices / preferences based on the job description / project brief / company profile provided by you while registering.
  • Participating companies will be able to view the list of students applying for the opening registered by your organization using your login credential. Participating companies will also be able access the online portfolio of the student who has applied for these positions.
  • All placement related communications should be through the Placement team.
  • Recruiters are requested to read the placement guidelines document shared on the industry interface portal at the time of registration.
  • Recruiters have to bring an official letterhead and rubber stamp seal.
  • It is mandatory for recruiters to shortlist the applied CANDIDATEs for an open position. The recruiter has to share the list of shortlisted candidates by 11-11-2019, to make the process flow easy during Industry Interface.
  • Recruiters should adhere to the timing slot of the day. Starting time of the Industry-Interface is 10:30am. Closing time of the Industry-Interface day is 5:30pm. The recruiters are advised to share the shortlisted candidates well in advance as per guidelines to ease the process.  
  • Recruiters can carry their laptops with chargers (one laptop per interview panel), to access the industry interface portal over the internet. Internet facilities over WiFi will be provided by NID.
  • Recruiters have to update the status of the interview (selected, waitlist-ranking, rejected) for every CANDIDATE, in the industry interface portal / with the assigned student volunteer. 
  • The maximum time limit for a personal interview is 20 minutes per student.
  • Only personal interview sessions are allowed during the Industry-Interface day. No other mode of hiring or recruiting process is entertained.
  • If recruiters are interested, interviews for deserving CANDIDATEs who are under the student exchange program at foreign locations, online skype interviews shall be conducted. However, the on-campus interviews shall be given first priority.
  • No further or future interview(s) or screening tests shall be conducted for a selected CANDIDATE. Offers given after the Industry-Interface would be deemed as final.
  • It is mandatory for recruiters to give the final list of selected CANDIDATEs and waitlist of CANDIDATEs towards the end of the interview day or within the next 24hrs by e-mail to Placement Office. The offer should be issued on the organisation letterhead duly signed.
  • If the registered organisation wishes to conduct a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) they can send a request to Placement cell along with the preferred dates between 20th September, 2019 and 30th October, 2019, during working weekdays, from 5:00 PM onwards. The NID placement cell will provide the venue facility. It is advised to time the presentation to around 40 minutes. NID will inform the students on campus about the talk session.
  • Recruiters have to share the feedback about the overall Industry-Interface recruitment process.
  • Organisations are advised to give preference for full-time recruitments during the Industry-Interface day.
  • Companies should announce the names of the selected CANDIDATEs and confirm their appointment in the campus where placement is happening with appropriate employment details and date of joining etc., on the same evening of the interview day or within the next 24hrs.
  • Company will adhere to the PAY ASSURED in the registration form and will not negotiate below the assured emoluments with participants. But a higher pay can be offered to any deserving CANDIDATE. In case of any increased differential pay, it has to be updated to the Placement office.
  • Participating Companies are not permitted to invite shortlisted/selected participants to their offices for further selection process /renegotiation.
