Xavier is an alumnus of NID Ahmedabad. He has a BA from Goa University and has worked as a graphic designer within his own consultancy firm working with solopreneurs, teaming up with design studios, independent designers, artists, start-ups and companies around the country. He’s worked on projects for Goa Marriott, Salgaocar Group, Bandekar Group, Saint-Gobain besides other state government departments, tourism-based establishments, museums and web design companies.

As an educator, he has previously worked at GLSID as an Assistant Professor with the Graphic Design Department. Prior to joining education full-time, he was visiting faculty at NID Ahmedabad, Vijayawada & FLAME University, Pune. He has always believed that learning is a continuous and collaborative process between the faculties and students, and that good design is often multi and interdisciplinary. He likes to involve himself in courses such as publication design, typography, wayfinding, systems design, design thinking, research, design projects and various visual theory subjects. Apart from practicing and teaching design he loves learning new things, is an avid reader, likes to conjure up digital and analog games, loves watching films, dabbling in experimental projects related to music and is very interested in future facing tech like gen-ai, block-chain, XR to name a few.
